Accept
September 12, 2014

Classic heavy metal was essentially shaped by three highly influential bands: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Accept.

Hot off the heels of their overwhelmingly successful 2010 album Blood Of The Nations (named Album Of The Year more than 50 times around the world!), and their equally successful world tour, after circling the world two times Accept still found time to write new songs.  Enter their latest: Stalingrad.  Accept’s songs were forged by sweat and dust from packed concert venues and hardened by fire from the explosive zeal of a hundred thousand fans!  The band’s music, on record as well as on stage, is not a product of an easy-going muse or a reflection of veteran rockers. Instead, Accept forces the air from screaming lungs, conjures hot sweat on the forehead and holds a clenched fist in your face.  GET READY TO ROCK!

Metal Church, known for their incredibly tight musicianship and piercingly screeched vocals, is also featured on tonight’s performance.

Jerry Lewis
October 10, 2014

Tonight’s show is a retrospective of Jerry Lewis’s life, as told through jokes, stories and amazing film clips.  He made his show business debut at the age of 5, began a show business partnership with Dean Martin in 1946, an association that saw both skyrocket to fame.  For ten years Martin and Lewis sandwiched sixteen money making films between nightclub engagements, personal appearances, recording sessions, radio shows, and television bookings. Their last film together was "Hollywood or Bust" (1956). On July 25th of that year the two made their last nightclub appearance together at the Copacabana, exactly ten years to the day since they became a team.

From then on, Jerry Lewis has been constantly on the move. His film career skyrocketed, and he recorded several records and albums; one of them "Rock-A-Bye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody", released by Decca Records, has sold nearly four million copies to date. Additionally, Lewis plunged into screen writing, directing, producing as well as acting.

Lewis has scored many triumphs for his work on stage and screen, both in front of and behind the camera.  Among his many awards, Lewis received the highest honor ever bestowed upon an entertainer when he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his tireless efforts in the fight against Muscular Dystrophy.
