Lisa Loeb
April 17, 2015

Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb started her career with the platinum-selling Number 1 hit song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites. To this day, she is still the only artist to have a Number 1 single while not signed to a recording contract, a remarkable and unparalleled feat for an unsigned artist, though perhaps not a surprising one for the Brown grad girl with the cat-eye glasses, who at the time was already making her mark in New York’s burgeoning singer-songwriter scene.

The fact that “Stay” became a Number 1 single in 1994 and still resonates with people today is a testament to Loeb’s gift as a songwriter and storyteller. Loeb has successfully parlayed her talents into a multi-dimensional career encompassing music, film, television, voice-over work and children’s recordings.  Today, Loeb continues to grow as an artist and to push herself and her career forward with a creative zeal and an inner drive not often seen.

The Dan Band
April 18, 2015

Dan Finnerty caught America’s attention as the foul-mouthed wedding singer in the box-office smash Old School, performing his now-infamous rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart, as well as his appearance as the sleazy bat-mitzvah singer in Starsky &Hutch and again as the inappropriate wedding singer in the record breaking hit The Hangover.

What started as a drunken joke for Finnerty, singing I Am Woman at a karaoke bar has spiraled out of control into THE DAN BAND - a cult phenomenon that has garnered rave reviews from The New York Times, The L.A. Times, Variety, and Rolling Stone among others, and prompted Entertainment Weekly to dub it “The hottest ticket in Hollywood.”

THE DAN BAND plays to sold out crowds from Los Angeles to New York and has appeared on numerous shows including The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ellen, The Late Late Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, Last Comic Standing, The Guys Choice Awards and caught the attention of Steven Spielberg, who signed on to executive produce Dan's one hour concert special “The Dan Band: I Am Woman”, directed by McG.

Wang Chung

Throughout their 30 year career they have released 5 albums and 2 Greatest Hits compilations. They have had 6 US Top 40 hits including a #1.  In the process of all this (and somewhat unintentionally), Wang Chung became part of the contemporary culture of North America.  Their huge smash “Everybody Have Fun Tonight,” with its now famous line, “Everybody Wang Chung Tonight,” saw the invention of a new US verb; “to Wang Chung”.  Icons such as Homer Simpson and Frasier Crane name-checked the band on TV and “Wang Chung” even achieved punch-line status in “The Spy Who Shagged Me”.
